Welcome to Wasa sahiwal
Introductions
WASA Sahiwal was established as part of the Government of Punjab’s initiative to strengthen urban water supply and sanitation services in developing cities. With the rapid growth of Sahiwal and increasing demand for modern municipal infrastructure, the need for a dedicated and specialized agency became essential.
The agency was formally created to take over and improve the management of water supply, sewerage, and drainage systems in the city. Prior to its establishment, these services were managed through traditional municipal structures, which faced limitations in handling the expanding urban population and infrastructure demands.
The formation of WASA Sahiwal marked a significant shift toward a more organized, efficient, and sustainable system. Equipped with a clear mandate and professional framework, the agency focuses on delivering safe drinking water, maintaining sewerage networks, and ensuring effective drainage solutions.
Since its inception, WASA Sahiwal has been committed to enhancing public health standards and improving the overall quality of life for the residents of Sahiwal. It continues to work towards building a modern, responsive, and environmentally sustainable urban service system for the city.
Every employee of WASA Sahiwal embodies the spirit of our organization, dedicated, proactive, and fully aware of the immense potential we hold to grow and serve. We strive to identify and nurture self-motivated individuals with diverse experience and skill sets, building not just an efficient workforce but a dynamic, well-rounded, and collaborative team committed to excellence.
